Toronto and BC

Yesterday was just amazing.
 
Pete organised for us to go to Niagara.  We got in a little coach/bus and drove there.  On the way we stopped at a winery and I bought an Ice wine, which is like a licquer.  We got back in the bus and headed towards the falls.
 
The driver was great and stopped for certain things, like the smallest church in the world!  There were 2 Irish girls on the bus that wanted to go in the helicopter so we made a stop there.  And it was the best decision I've made so far!  It was amazing views of America and Canada and the assorted parts of the Falls.
 
Included in our bus ticket was a ride on the Maids of the Mist.  You get a sexy blue poncho to wear.  The boat goes out right near the US Falls and then the Canadian Horseshoe Falls and you get saturated.  It was great fun, but very hard to take photos on the boat.
 
Well blah blah blah we did some more touristy things around Niagara then went back into Toronto.
 
'Cos we went to Niagara we had to miss the CN tower tour wiht the rest of the crew.  We were luckily able to get in after we got back.  It was ok, not as impressive as I had hoped.  But I do have some retarded photos of me lying on the glass floor pretending to fall 300metres or something!
 
Then back off the to hotel for a quick shower and dinner before the pub crawl began.  So much fun!  We got on a yellow shcool bus and drove to an Irish pub.  Great time it get heaps of crew photos.  Then we went to this awesome place called The Fifth which had $3 drinks until midnight.  I loved that place.  We finally stopped next door to the hotel at a nightclub called Tryst!  I drank way too much vodka, but that's the joys of tipping your waiter well!  There was some damn nasty shit happening on the floor too.  Some guy was practically mounting his missus on the wall, it was damn disgusting!!!
 
I can't even tell you what time I got back to the hotel, but it was near 3am.  And we had to be in the lobby at 4am for a bus to the airport!  I did a quick pack, apparently had a shower and terrorised the lobby with my presence.
 
We made a long boring drive to the airport where we got told off for being to loud on the bus.  Apparently people wanted to sleep at 5am!!!  We didn't even board the plane to Vancouver until 6:30 so most of us caught a quick nap on the seats.  The flight was an annoying 5 hours or so!  I passed out during the takeoff, but later woke to violate the toilets a couple of times.  I'd like to know why my ankles swell on the plane and other people's don't!
 
We were picked up from the airport by our new guide Saul and driver Robbie.  We made a few stops at the hotels to get the rest of the group...bloody noisy bunch.  Had a quick little drive around Vancouver and then headed off for Whistler.  The views are amazing...and there is some snow on the mountain tops.
 
Tonight we had a group dinner at the hotel and then went off to a nearby pub but in my current state I struggled to drink half a pint of fantabulous Canadian beer!
 
Tomorrow I am ziptrekking (a cross between a flying fox and the free fall wire) through some gorgeous scenery as well as going on the gondolas between Whistler mountain and another mountain whose names escapes me right now!!!  And I might have the joy of some much needed washing!!!
 
So now I am off for some much needed glorious sleep.  And by the way, I got a new roommate!  Her name is Kelly and I've already met her on Facebook.  I am so glad I am away from Emily, though she is now a bit crazy stalkerish and won't let me out of her sight *eyeroll*  It generally takes 2 seconds for her to be tagging along behind me!
 
Anyway, I might try to get an International calling card tomorrow to call home, but don't hold your breathe I have heaps to do!

P.P.S. I have no idea what time it is at home anymore.  BC is 3 hours behind Toronto so it may be 7am at home???
