Snow!

Yesterday I had this huge post typed up then god knows what happened!

We started the morning with some strolling around Whistler. It is so stunning here, situated between tall tree and snow covered mountains!

Then we went off to do some ziplining - fantastic fun and I highly recommend it. It's like a flying fox between the mountains. The first one was called Godzilla which was surprisingly not as scary as I thought! I had so much fun zipping between the mountains! There are 4 ziplines in total. Emily was embarrassing the whole way around screaming and complaining, I was close to smacking her out!

Afterwards we went back into the village and caught the lift up to the top of Whistler mountain, about 2,300 metres high. We saw two little bears on the way up! Very hard to get photos of them though! Once we reached the top we took some crazy photos and ate a big lunch. Then we caught the gondolas over to the Blackcomb mountain. It was a really awesome ride, about 400metres above the ground! Not much to do on the second mountain so we caught a glass bottom gondola back! I got to touch some snow and don't worry it wasn't yellow! Most of the nice clean snow was sealed off, who would have thought it was slippery haha!

Back in the village we went shopping and took some more crazy photos before heading back to the hotel to get dressed for dinner.

I am quite certain I am coming down with Contiki cold...not impressed. I didn't eat much at dinner and came home early to sleep. I guess I am saving money not going out drinking.

Today some people are doing their gondola rides. I have been back around the village to buy drugs, water and some unnecessary clothes! I need to go back my bags up as we are shortly making the long drive to Kamloops. Tonight we will eat at a place called Frick n Frack!!!
