What day are we up to?

Seriously i don't know! It's been hard to get onto the internet, been busy and have to pay for it most of the time :(

So we made the drive to Calgary and made a few stops on the way. I can't even remember what we saw it seems so long ago!

We arrived in Calgary not long after lunch and the place is huge, an actual city. I was told it was a smnall country town and I guess that was what I was expecting also.

We got dropped off in the city and spent time shopping for cowboy gear!!! The Stampede mascots were romaing town too, so we got photos with them. I diud go shopping at a 'discount' store and bought some Ralph Lauren shorts for $40, and a dress - I know :O

Calgarry put on some shit weather in the arvo too :( We headed to the hotel, went out for discount dinner at the Greek place then got our cowboy on and headed to Ranchman's. We got VIP entry in the big beer tent. It was set up like a cleaner version of a BnS, with mud and rent-a -dunny and all!!!

They had a live band that did some great covers, but also a lot of bloody country songs. Though we heard our day song at least 3 times in an hour. BTW our day song is Save a Horse, Ride a Cowboy. I'll youtube it in a bit! Not too many bad looking cowboys around, but I tended to stick with the crew. The drinks were also a little expensive so we've taken to drinking in our room before we go out! Then it was a 1am stumble home!
