OK so I've finally made it to LAX after a 12 hour flight from Auckland. Auckland is much prettier than Perth at night time!
Anyway I'm here, I've got off the plane and I've go to Customs. And guess who gets picked for a random passport verification. So I spent 40 minutes sitting in bloody immigration just to be told that the guy at the desk didn't let my fingerprints sit for long rnough or some shit.
So now I am on my way to terminal 7 which is a 15minute walk from ther international terminal. I get here, I go through all the usual checks and wait around in departure. It's actually pretty boring in the United American terminal! And I had to buy food and drinks for this flight cos you have to pay for it on board.
FInally got to board the plane which was due to depart at 4:30. It's now 5 and we have been asked to exit the plane 'cos they can't get the cargo door to shut. I am so fucking tired, and really wobbly on my feet. I just want to get to New York and sleep and get on with my tour tomorrow. What more could possibly go wrong???
I'm gonna go sit down with my book and hope that things get better from here!
